- Curt Harrell was unable to attend the first half of the meeting because of work schedule. Jennifer Baldwin filled in.

- We discussed the Agenda 21 Coalition and ticket assign which will be held January 14, 2012 in Baton Rouge, La Red tickets were handed out to people to give to political officials to attend the symposium. Pat took 2, Olivia-2, Jennifer-2, and Jesse-2. We as an official group where handed free tickets to attend. So far 9 people from our board will be attending. Olivia is going to bring the table to house our products to sell. Diann Downey has the table clothes and skirt. Dianne Harrell has the stuff to put on table to sell and is going to bring the banner. We will also receive 10 free DVD's of the event.
- Meeting with Cleco 1/20/12 @ 5 PM pat and Curt need to develop 10 point questionnaire. Pat will email curt what we need to do. She showed us a Cleco hand out "Customer facts" encourages us to use the smart meters. It goes in to detail about the cellphones and micro waves, etc. That sends out these waves but is a little misses leading about Smart meters. It fails to tell you that they send out a pulse every two minutes.
- Meeting with Glynn Maxwell-Colfax Chronicle 1/13/12 to establish another means of information distribution within our community. gmchronicle@gmal.com . Pat encouraged us to subscribe to the Colfax Chronicle. This would really help him and we could hand out these papers to people to subscribe. Olivia is going to send Pat a story on the Constitution to have put in the paper. They also encourage us to send in articles.
- Should we cancel the meeting in Jan. because of the Agenda 21 Symposium? NO! Jennifer feels that it is important to have the meeting because we haven't had one in Dec. and people will quickly forget about us and be uninvolved. Dianne Harrell said that we need to have it to pass on the information that we get from the symposium. Have everyone who attends s to gather information so that we will have it.
- Curt has requested PSA's from the local media for the Symposium Please ask people to let us know if they have heard the information and where.
- Leonard Nash has compiled information on survival and is going to print the information out and put in a book. There was a lot of research and different websites and other places that he went to, to get the information.
- Jennifer said that she would like to put together some kind of presentation about the constitution for this year's Constitution day. We could get young people involved and gear it toward getting them interested. Also she is asking for Pat to take over the Secretary Job because her daughter is getting married and will not be as focused on cenla patriots as she has been. Pat agreed but if she takes it back when the wedding is over.
- Olivia is getting busy on Republic State Central Committee Dist. 27C she hasn't been able to find out what she is supposed to do or what the job is really for but she is on the ballot. She is going to try and get Clyde Holloway to attend one of our meetings to discuss how the Establishment is really working.

- No one attend the Police Jury meeting this month, Curt , Dianne, Olivia and Jesse went and taught Agenda 21 to Pre Law students at Upper Iowa University on November 14, 2011. They were very disappointed that these students didn't even know the constitution. They didn't even know the difference between a Democracy and a Republic.
- Curt is going to get the print out of the new Districts and who is the rep. We want everyone to focus on calling their rep. to stop Allero from becoming state house speaker.

- Freedom works seemed to be a great success. We had a big hit with the goodies. Donation jar has really been good.
- We are deflated as a group about the Local Election but need to keep busy. We need to change local politics, go to local meetings. Doug Davis at the City council meetings in Alexandria. Lynn Weiss will be going to the meetings at the school board and police jury. We need to put together dates of all these different groups ready to hand out or send them out by emails. - We Skyp-Called Barrett Byrd. To discuss the election; he told us 3 out of 10 people voted in this election. Q. Why do we have such a poor turn out? A. Sinicism and skepticism. Everyone was Dismayed on you not winning, he was out spent 7 to 1. Lance Harris didn't personally knock on any doors he had his people do that. Whereas Barrett did personally knock on doors. Q. Future in Politics? A. don't know not going to spend money he doesn't have Maybe start another company, he maybe was a little naive about politics.

- Mr. Garman from Slidell, LA gave the prayer and the pledge.
- Curt- expressed the disappointment in the last election and that it is hard to continue. We lose sight of our goal sometimes. Then showed a video "Angel Flight". He said he took an oath to defined and fight for the constitution and there is no expiration date on the oath. We just need to get a lot better at getting our message out. We need to market our product and Mr. Allen is here to help us. Curt showed another video, with Newt Gingrich.
- Robin Edwards from freedom works spoke to us She is the state coordinator of Louisiana. She also is with the Louisiana Tea Party Federation. We do not indorse candidates she advocates for tea party issues and stated the petitions on Obama care and the Gulf Oil spill.
- Mr. Garmin is the founder of Freedom works in Louisiana. We need to organize so that we can help each other. We need to get the work done. Stand up and get this done. Don't stand for the lies.
- Joyce W. spoke about the freedom connector. She is from North Carolina. Take advantage of the website and the face book. We get the terms right and left from the Bible Ecclesiastes 10 verse 2. We need to call our elected members when they are doing right as well as wrong. We need to do voter reg. drives keep info so that we can educate them on the elections. Find the contacts so that they can work together on. Work on a common goal. They have a super Pac the Pac that does the endorsing foundation and education. Rules to remember about campaigning or suggestions: 1. Volunteer it's the same thing as a cash contribution. 2. Always be professional, counter protest. Keep your cool and don't let them provoke you. 3. Know your competitor and your candidate that you support. 4. Politics is local; know your local rep and state level rep. 5. Keep tea party group doing constructive projects. (sugg.) Registration drives. Have people report on state, parish and city meetings. 6. You never know to many people. 7. Need to keep to our roots, freedom connector, and face book have a phone tree system. 8. Set up a minute men network. 9. Be spontaneous, street theater, duck suits (lame duck) or Panda bear suits (pandering) you'll get the medias' attention. 10. Build coalitions to work together on certain issues. 11. Don't burn any bridges. 12. People vote their pocket books. Tricks of the trade: Literature distributions go in pairs to hand out. Go to Target, Wal-Mart parking lots. Start at the back of the lot and move forward. Turnover is every two hrs. Don't target areas that your literature won't be received well. Or isn't informative. Percentages look better than a number. Football games Tag windshields go the next morning and pick up the trash in the parking lot. Go to festivals, sign-up sheet or petitions, name address,phone number and email address. Two people in the booth with materials and two people outside the booth getting names, addresses, phone numbers, and email address. Door to door campaigning, door hangers. Make sure the issues reflect their principals. Pick the right neighborhoods; pick houses that are close together. Election information candidate that is conservative compared to opponent. And their voting record. Count on these people for about two hours. Voter mail, use in places you can't walk. Remember K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid. Use pictures, bullet points, then in small print where to find the info. To back up your facts. Yard signs placement, businesses, windows first priority your major roads, homes, businesses and inter sections. Bring envelopes and paper with bullet points (personal stationary) to have members write letters. Turn the letters in to a leader and have them mail them or have different people mail them at different post offices to get different post marks. Get on the streets and protest. Have someone write the letters and print them out and have other people sign them and put their information on them and then you gather them up and mail them. Senator or Rep. Send to the local offices. Spread out the letters to be mailed with different dates and post marks. Call tree personal calls; identify yourself and your group. Phone banks or Home calls. What type of calls? Voter turn out, information, meeting? Get with Robyn for local ro - bo calls. Lobbying 1. Direct contact with elected officials. 2. Group of constituents. (Find a donor if you can or a personnel friend) 3. Handwritten letters. 4. Emails ok but they can be deleted. 5. Find common ground. 6. Phone calls.
- When a person is a candidate first there media support or focus is needed, then smaller items. (Push cards, files, pens, notepads etc.) Research the demographics of the area. Radio is the most effective way to get your message out. You can target your demographics. Work smarter. Not harder.
